According to the CDC, the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a new virus that has not been previously identified; it is a respiratory illness that can spread from person to person. It is not the same as the coronaviruses that commonly circulate among humans and cause mild illness, like the common cold. The first case of COVID-19 in the Kentucky was reported on March 6, 2020.
Symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath
